Snow, Snow, Snow … who doesn’t love getting out and playing in the snow?! Wait … don’t answer that question. Blizzard after a 60 degree day – UGH!
As adults we might not L-O-V-E being in the COLD … BRRRR…snow...but sometimes it is awesome to play and feel like a kid again.
Whatever your pleasure, when it comes time to head back inside and warm up with some hot chocolate, plan to bring 5 – 6 cups of fresh snow to make some snow ice cream.
I can hear some of you now saying, "There is pollution on the snow!" Hey, maybe it is the country girl in me, or maybe because it is just FUN … live on the wild side and give it a try. Here is what you’ll need:
5-6 cups snow
1 cup milk
½ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Put 3 cups of snow in a large bowl. Pour in milk, sugar and vanilla. Mix together. Add 2 – 3 more cups of snow and mix. Enjoy! If your Snow Ice Cream starts to melt, put it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
